Don’t roam in forest wearing blankets during night: DM

RAJOURI, July 29: The District Administration Rajouri has advised the people in Rajouri district not to move in forests during night hours while wearing shawls and blankets.
A circular issued from the office of District Magistrate Rajouri today, under the seal and signature of Additional District Magistrate Rajouri, RK Khajuria said that search operations are being launched by the security forces to curb the movement of anti- social, anti-national forces.
This advisory was issued by District authorities on the request by Army authorities who brought in the notice that some civilians wearing shawls and blankets roam in the forest areas, fields, especially during night hours. For precautionary measures such people should be advised not to move with blankets and shawls.
“General public is hereby informed through the medium of this circular that no person shall visit/ roam in the forest area of the district during late and night hours from 9 PM to 4 AM wearing shawls and blankets,” the advisory reads.
The movement has been strictly prohibited, without prior permission from concerned army and police authorities in order to avoid any mishappening and untoward incident, the advisory said.
