JAMMU, Apr 4: National Conference senior leader from Akhnoor Ram Saroop Sharma joined BJP alongwith other two senior leaders on Friday in presence of BJP Legislative Party leader Ashok Khajuria, State general secretary Kavinder Gupta, political advisor to State president Prof. Hari Om and other leaders.
Ram Saroop Sharma and others were welcomed amid slogans by partymen.
Ashok Khajuria, on this occasion, said that Narendra Modi’s development plank has compelled the political leaders and activists of other parties also to reconsider their opinion about BJP and embrace it for the betterment of people and nation.
Ram Saroop Sharma, said that he had been associated with the BJP for long before joining NC but has now realized that BJP is in politics for development, welfare of masses and the only option before the people. “So I have taken the decision to come back into BJP as the other political parties have nothing to offer to people but only promoting dynasty rule, corruption, price rise’’,he added.
