Tribute paid to Yog Sansthan Founder

JAMMU, July 30: Bharatiya Yog Sansthan celebrated Smriti Divas in memory of its founder Late Prakash Lal Ji.
Bharatiya Yog Sansthan was founded by him in the year 1967 with its first Branch in Delhi. He was of the firm conviction that since Yoga is the gift of India to the world so it needs to be taught by Indians and not by the foreigners as was prevalent at that time.
Since then, the Sansthan has grown and established over 4000 Yog Centres throughout the country and also in 10 foreign countries. Yoga at these centres is taught free of cost by volunteers as per the principles enshrined by its founder. The maxim “Jio aur Jeevan do” is the driving force.
Bharatiya Yog Sansthan Jammu (J&K) celebrated 15th Smriti Diwas today across Jammu Division at 10 different locations in which a huge number of Yog lovers participated. At all these places Prantiya members conducted the Samohik Yog Sadhana. A brief on the life history of the founder late Prakash Lal Ji was presented to the participants. It was followed by floral tribute to him.
