Police attach drug peddler’s property worth Rs 30 lakh

JAMMU, July 30: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) here today attached the property of a drug peddler worth Rs 30 lakh.
A police official said that a residential complex belonging to one Bobby Mehra of Mehra Mohalla, House Number 44, Toph Sherkhania, was attached by a team of Police Station Bakshi Nagar under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act 1985 as it was acquired through the proceeds of narcotics trade.
According to him, the police action followed detailed investigations in separate cases, confirming that the immovable assets were acquired through illegal proceeds of drug trafficking.
