Swami Vishwanathan listens issues of Divyangs

KATHUA, July 31: RSS Parcharak and Sangathan Mantri Saksham North India, Swami Vishwanathan today visited Kathua district along with O.D Attri, district president Saksham Kathua and interacted with Divyangs, prominent villagers of Lakhanpur, Hatli Morh, Kharote and Kathua town.
During visit of Swami Vishwanathan, many Divyangs projected their demands like enhancement of pension from existing Rs. 1000 per month to Rs. 3000 as has been done by the governments of Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka and other States.
They also demanded opening of school for the children of differently abled person in Kathua, adjustment of literate Divyangs in private sector as now not even a single literate Divyang have been appointed in industrial area of Kathua.
At Kharote, Hatli Morh, Kathua and Lakhanpur, four deputations of Divyang people led by Mohan Mehra, Sardari Singh, Vidya Sagar Sharma, Suresh Sharma, Mohinder Paul, Ravinder Sharma and Waryam met Swami Ji and appreciated the Saksham District team Kathua for their contribution towards Divyang people.
Swami Ji assured them that their genuine demands will be placed before LG government for approval.
O.D Attri, district president Saksham Kathua said that a model Divyang Sewa Kendra had been opened at Ward no. 13 Kathua run by Saksham Kathua city president, Mohan Mehra for the convenience of Divyangs.
