ASKPEM highlights issues of migrants

JAMMU, July 31: All State Kashmiri Pandit Ekta Manch (ASKPEM) in a meeting here, today under the chairmanship of Ashok Kumar Koul disused the issues being faced by migrants at TRT Nagrota, Jagti township, Buta Nagar , Muthi Phase I & IInd and Purkhoo camp.
The meeting was also addressed by Chand Ji Khair a social activist. While highlighting the burning issues being faced by the community he urged the Government to settle them without further delay. He demanded CCTVs along with street lights be installed in all migrant camps. He also demanded that drinking water supply be made better both in Nagrota TRT and Jagti township where people are facing acute water scarcity in this hot and humid Summer.
The meeting also demanded immediate renovation of damaged boundary wall around TRT Nagrota. Chand Ji Bhat, Vijay Kumar Pandita, Romesh Kumar Koul, Shadi Lal Bhat, Kuku JI Koul and others were present in the meeting.
