JAMMU, Aug 1: Requesting the Lt Governor administration to ease further the procedure to take the benefit of the pro-people decision on Gair Mumkin Khads, Vikram Randhawa former MLC and senior BJP leader stressed that Gair Mumkin Khads are no longer an issue and heaped praises on the Modi Government and lauded the LG administration for series of people-centric decisions.
BJP media Incharge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and Library Incharge, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra were also present at the press conference here, today.
Vikram Randhawa, , said that he had earlier raised the issue on behalf of the party at the appropriate platforms while pressing for a quick pro-people decision on the burning issue of Gair Mumkin Khad.
“No land could be marked as Gair Mumkin Khad until the three tier teams under Divisional Commissioner, DC will not justify the same. Actual Khads will be identified under the decision”, Randhawa said while quoting the new decision.
The people of Jammu, Samba, and Kathua were the worst sufferers. Now the LG administration has taken a pro-people decision that the lands will be cleared from the tag of Gair Mumkin Khad. He said that the order passed would categorize the Khads. He emphasized that the Khads containing water bodies and prone to water should be termed as the Khads. Now this decision of the LG administration has provided a big relief to the people of Jammu.
Randhawa further requested the LG administration to ease the procedure for the decision. He said that the most of needy people who don’t have financial resources and administrative approaches would find it difficult to take the benefit of this useful decision.
Randhawa said that the LG administration has recently taken many other pro-people decisions that have benefitted the needy and the neglected. He said that the decision regarding proprietary rights to the West Pakistani Refugees has been a landmark that has removed a black spot.
He also pointed out that soon they are expecting an order on 254-C.
Randhawa said that the decisions of the Modi Government have delivered justice to the Valmiki, Gorkha, WPRs, PoJK Refugees, women, and other committees that suffered at the hands of previous Governments. He also requested the LG administration to consider the issue of Custodian properties for the rights of the families who had been dwelling on those for decades and generations.
