JAMMU, Aug 2: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today presented two mega cultural performances for Amarnath pilgrims at Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar and staged musical play ‘Neel Kanth Gangadhar’.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest, Durga Parkash, Stage Manager, Central Bureau of Communication (CBC).
Sunil Kumar Sharma, Verinder Kapida, Neeraj Verma, Sunita Atri, Ram Lal, senior staff members of CBC and staff of Yatri Bhawan were also present on the occasion.
All the programmes were presented under the guidance of Gulam Abbass, Director, Central Bureau of Communication.
The above programme was also presented at Durga Bhawan, Janipur for Amarnath pilgrims.
Songs for the programme were written by Dr. M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS and composed by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor.
Earlier Usha Raina, Troupe Leader BLSKS delivered welcome address.
M.C Kotwal, general secretary BLSKS explained aims and objectives of the programme.
Singers, musicians and actors who performed were Usha Raina, Raju Bajgal, Rajni Gupta, M.C Kotwal, Deepak Kumar, Zulekha Bano, Paramjeet, Chahat Chadha, Rahul Kumar, Afroz Aalam, Kamla Devi, Sunil Verma, Sanjay Mehra, Bunty Kumar and Rajeev Salotra.
Ram Lal presented vote of thanks.
