SRINGAR, Apr 5: Additional District Judge Srinagar has vacated the stay for conducting of elections to Zeastha Devi Prabandhak Committee Zeathyar Srinagar.
In its judgment on Friday the Additional District Judge Srinagar dismissed the instant application and vacated the stay granted on March 20 this year. The Judge observed that in view of the matter he is of the considerate opinion that the relief as sought in the present application has become infractuous and redundant.
In its judgment against the case filed by Satish Totha, son of Dinanath Totha of Jawahar Nagar Srinagar and others versus Zeastha Devi Prabandhak Committee through Bharat Bushan Bhat, son of late D N Bhat of Hotel Centaur and others, the court further observed that in view of the record submitted by the non –applicants/ defendants it remains unambiguous that on March 23 this year election for the constitution of Zeastha Devi Prabandhak Committee was held and in this election, its office bearers /executive members were elected. Hence relief sought as to restraining the defendants / non applicants from conducting election of the management committee of suit Trust seems to have become infractuos.
