Birthday of Acharya Balakrishna celebrated as ‘Jadi Buti Diwas’

HARIDWAR, Aug 4: The birthday of Patanjali Yogpeeth’s general secretary, Acharya Balakrishna was celebrated here today as ‘Jadi Buti Diwas’.
On this occasion, Acharya Balakrishna along with Swami Ramdev Ji, distributed more than one lakh medicinal plants including Neem, Tulsi, Aloe Vera and Giloy which were planted through the Patanjali Yog Samitis established across the country.
This occasion was celebrated at the Netra Department of Patanjali Wellness Center in Haridwar, where thousands of saplings were planted. Along with this, Acharya Balakrishna Ji’s birthday was celebrated in 887 units across the country through the established Patanjali Yoga Committees.
More than one thousand units of blood was also donated by the volunteers on this occasion in camps organized to mark the day.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balakrishna inspired the masses for a healthy body, healthy family, healthy society, healthy nation and a healthy world.
They also encouraged the people to donate blood.
Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj congratulated Acharya Ji on his birthday, stating that Acharya Ji’s life is a blend of karma, dedication and sacrifice.
On this occasion, Acharya Ji said that his birthday is just an occasion to continue work on national and international campaigns.
Swami Ramdev also launched a portal of World Herbal Encyclopedia.
Apart from all this, 280 people were given free of cost spectacles after getting their eye sights tested and dental checkup of about 412 people was also done.
Acharya Ji also inaugurated a three day long conference on surgery techniques at Patanjali University.
