JAMMU, Aug 4: A man went missing from the Bakshi Nagar area here.
Ajay Kumar, son of Arvind Kumar of Qasim Nagar, Gurha Morh, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, disappeared on July 22, 2024.
According to his family, Kumar went to perform his duties at Pulse IAS Institute, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, but did not arrive there.
He reportedly called a colleague early in the morning, expressing a desire to visit a hospital before the institute opened, and then disappeared.
His family members noted that during a call, Kumar’s phone had background sounds similar to those of a railway station, but he did not speak.
His phone switched off later that night, they said.
The family has filed a missing person report at the Bakshi Nagar Police Station, and an investigation has been initiated to locate him.
