JAMMU, Aug 4: A police official was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Old Rehari area here today, officials said.

Vivek Dogra, son of Anil Dogra of Old Rehari, Jammu, an Armed Police Personnel posted at DPL Jammu, who had recently returned home from Shri Amarnath Yatra duty, was found dead at Old Rehari around 7:30 am, they said.
“The deceased official had gone out with a friend the previous evening, but when he did not return home by morning, a search was launched and his body was recovered from Old Rehari,” a police officer said.
He said inquest proceedings under the relevant sections of the law have been initiated to determine the cause of the mysterious death of police man.
