Nowshera, Apr 6: Coalition Congress -National Conference candidate from Jammu- Poonch Parliamentary constituency Madan Lal conducted a road show-cum-public meetings in Sunderbani and Nowshera villages which got a huge response from the locals who came in large numbers on road side and assured him vote and support in the election.
He appealed the people to press hand button on EVMs on April 10 to defeat the vested interests who are bent upon to divide the country on communal lines. He said that the time is for ensuring employment to the youth and dignified livelihood to all sections of the society which can be provided only by the Congress. He said that Coalition Government in the State has provided Degree colleges to Sunderbani and Nowshera and many roads, PHE, Irrigation, Education, Agriculture and health infrastructure was improved to provide better services to the inhabitants of border towns / villages of Sunderbani and Nowshera.
He said that the voters in Nowshera Constituency are Congress supporters and it is the time to show united face for the progress, prosperity & development of the area. He said that State coalition has almost one year term in balance and the same coalition will form next Government in the State & if the MP is not from coalition it becomes difficult to ensure development of the area. He hoped that Congress led UPA will come to power in Centre and will serve the people.
Cautioning people Mr. Sharma said BJP never form the Government in the State and in present situation Congress will always be in power in the State, as such casting vote for BJP will be go in waste. Mr. Sharma was confident about his victory in view of his performance last 10 years and hard work of the coalition leaders of NC and Congress who are working day & night to make him victorious.
Appealing for the victory of Madan Lal Sharma in the Lok Sabha elections, Ravinder Sharma, MLC said that the MP has worked tirelessly for the marginalized and unprivileged sections of the society for their all round development . He said Madan Lal carried various developmental works from his MP funds, Central sponsored schemes and votes for him shall be a reward for his dedication and commitment towards the people of Jammu region.
