SAMBA, Aug 6:  Three shops gutted after mysterious cylinder blast in the main market in Ramgarh area of Samba district on Tuesday evening in which four persons were injured.
According to the information received that one of the LPG cylinders kept outside Sahil Telecom Shop located at the main Nandpur and Nanga Chowk of Ramgarh town exploded this evening. The customers standing nearby shops and the shop owner himself got seriously injured. There are reports of four people getting injured in this cylinder explosion, including the shop owner.
After the explosion, three shops gutted and goods worth in lakhs got totally damaged. After the LPG cylinder caught fire, there was a huge explosion in the area,. The injured were identified as Satvik Gupta, 18, son of Rajesh Gupta, Manu Gupta, 19, son of Sham Lal Gupta, Shivang Mahajan, 19, son of Nitin Gupta, Manu Gupta, 20, son of Sham Lal. All the injured were immediately taken to the nearest CHC Ramgarh for first aid. After getting first-aid, the doctors referred them to GMC Jammu for better treatment.
On receiving the news of the accident SHO Ramgarh, Jaswinder Singh reached the spot with his team. He started investigation to find out the reasons for the accident. The police are trying to find out how the cylinder explosion took place. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
