DODA, Aug 6: Continuing the special drive against traffic violations, Police here today seized a passenger vehicle of Matador make in Gandoh area and registered an FIR against the driver for traffic violation.
A Police official informed that the passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK06A-3799, driven by one Zakir Hussain, son of Mohd Sain, resident of Kencha Bitola, Tehsil Kahara was plying from Doda to Chounary via Gandoh in a rash and negligent manner at a very high speed causing danger to the public and other vehicles moving on the road and the passengers travelling in it.
During checking, the vehicle was found overloaded by nine extra passengers.
In this regard a case in FIR No 81/2024 U/S 281, 125 BNS 194-A M.V Act was registered at Police Station Gandoh and investigation started.
