RAMBAN, Aug 6: Continuing the drive against MV Act violation, Traffic Police National Highway here today seized two buses which were plying as Sleeper Buses without permit thus jeopardizing the life of commuters.
Traffic cops lead by ASI Binni Kumar intercepted buses JK02DD-7149 and JK01S-6973 during routine checking and found that these vehicles were without valid permit to ply on road and have done unauthorized alteration by fabricating sleeper in one of the vehicles and both these vehicles were also carrying extra passengers.
While sharing details SSP Traffic NHW, Rohit Baskotra said that Traffic Police NHW is committed to reduce accidents and book violators.
He further added that Traffic Police is working relentlessly to make roads safer for the passengers by taking stringent action against MV Act violators.
