JAMMU, Aug 7: The Government has ordered the promotion of 12 officers from the departmental feeding services to the time scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (Level 11) under the JKAS Rules, 2008.
The promotions are effective from January 1, 2024, in a notional capacity, with regularization set for July 5, 2024.
As per an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), those officers from Excise and Taxation Department who have been promoted to the time scale of JKAS are Babu Pardeep Kumar and Sunil Angral, while Functional Managers Mohinder Kumar Sharma and Tej Krishan Koul are the officers promoted from the Industries and Commerce Department.
Two Under Secretary ranked officers from Secretariat-I-Sanjay Kumar Tickoo and Sanjay Pandita-and as many Private Secretary ranked officers from Secretariat-II-Fayaz Ahmad Bhat and Nusrat Shaheen-have also been promoted.
Four other Administrative Officers who have been promoted to the time scale of the JKAS are Abdul Rashid Reshi, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Altaf Hussain Bhat, and Aijaz Hussain Lanker.
