Several schools renamed in honour of martyrs in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Aug 7: Several Government schools in Udhampur district have been renamed in honor of the brave martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the nation under Swachhta Pakhwada campaign.
This initiative aims to inspire cleanliness and patriotism among students and the community, commemorating the valiant contributions of these heroes.
The Government Middle School Chari Bangla in Zone Dudu has been renamed as Shaheed Constable Khushi Ram Govt. Middle School Chari Bangla.
The Chief Medical Officer, Udhampur, presided over the renaming ceremony, paying tribute to Constable Khushi Ram’s dedication and bravery.
In Zone Babey, the Government Middle School Chigli Babey has been renamed as Shaheed Sgct Abdul Rashid Govt. Middle School Chigli Babey.
While the Registrar, Udhampur presided over the renaming event, honoring Sgct Abdul Rashid’s sacrifice and valor.
The Government Middle School Seri Ghantwal in Zone Chenani is now known as Shaheed Constable Azad Chand Govt. Middle School Seri Ghantwal. The Executive Engineer PMGSY, Udhampur, presided over the renaming ceremony, acknowledging Constable Azad Chand’s heroic service to the nation.
In Zone Majalta, the Government Middle School Baryalta has been renamed as Shaheed Constable Rajinder Kumar Govt. Middle School Baryalta. The Executive Engineer PWD R&B, Ramnagar officiated the event, commemorating Constable Rajinder Kumar’s ultimate sacrifice for the country.
These ceremonies were attended by local dignitaries, school staff, students, and community members, all of whom gathered to honor the memories of these courageous martyrs.
