DC Kupwara interacts with families of Police Martyr’s

KUPWARA, AUGUST 07:  In order to express solidarity and know the well-being of the families of the police martyrs, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan along with SSP Handwara, Dawood Ayoob today visited the residences of NOKs of police martyrs who had laid down their lives in the line of duty.

On the occasion, the DC enquired about the well being of the family members of martyrs and expressed her solidarity with them. She said that the District Administration will always remain indebted to the services of martyrs’ who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty by creating an atmosphere of peace and stability.

While interacting with the families of martyrs, the DC assured them of every possible help and lauded the role played by their loved ones in sacrificing their lives for the sake of nation and society.

It is worth mentioning here that the DC accompanied by SSP Handwara and other officers visited the family of  Sub-Inspector Arshid Ashraf S/O Mohammad Ashraf R/O Kalmoona Vilagam (Handwara) who  was martyred by terrorists at Khanyar Srinagar on 12-09-2021. She interacted with the parents of a martyred Police Officer.

The DC later visited the family of SGCT, Aamir Hussain Lone at Hirri Bala (Kupwara) who had attained martyrdom during a terrorist attack at Zoonimar Soura Srinagar on 22.3.2022.

Ayushi interacted with the parents and wife of martyred police SGCT. She also interacted with the daughters of martyred Police SGCT, Aasha, Khatija and Fatima.

Both the families of the martyrs’ expressed their satisfaction and happiness for interacting with Deputy Commissioner and Police officers and expressed hope to further strengthen this bond.
