REASI, Aug 7: Reasi Police today seized six vehicles involved in illegal mining activities in the area.
During random inspections, Reasi Police teams carried out extensive checks at various locations, resulting in the seizure of these six vehicles engaged in illegal mining activities.
The surprise operation was conducted at multiple sites under supervision of DySP HQs Reasi, Neeraj Padyar. Different teams of Police Station Reasi, PP Jyotipuram, and PP Dera Baba seized these vehicles bearing Registration Numbers JK20B7653, JK20A5104, JK20A9903, JK20B3869, JK02DF8571 and JK02DJ8571.
Post-seizure, the Mining Officer was promptly informed to initiate the necessary legal actions.
