JAMMU, Apr 7: The annual Mahayagya on the occasion of Durga Ashtami organized by Kashmiri Pandit Sabha in Bhairav Mandir premises concluded today with religious fervour and devotion.
In two-day Mahayagya, devotees in large number participated and chanted vedic hymns along with the pandits in the praise of Maha Durga for universal peace, harmony and prosperity. Maha Arti was led by Sabha president K K Khosa and H N Tiku.
Bhakti sangeet and programme of religious discourses was also arranged on the occasion. All devotees were served Prasad after Puran Ahuti.
Meanwhile Mahayagya also started at Sharda Colony, Patoli Brahmna and will culminate tomorrow with Puranahuti.
