Kesri demands protection of Hindus in Bangladesh

JAMMU, Aug 9: Jammu Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) today strongly condemned the massacre of Hindus in Bangladesh and demanded protection for Hindus in Bangladesh.
Addressing a press conference, Rajesh Kesri, President, SSH said that Hindus are being persecuted in Bangladesh and the government should promptly implement measures to ensure their safety and security.
He emphasized that even Hindus possess fundamental human rights, which are being egregiously violated in Bangladesh and suggested that persecuted Hindus should be allowed to enter India.
Kesri called on the Indian Government to ensure the safety of Hindus, Sikhs and other minorities in Bangladesh.
He urged enhanced security along the India-Bangladesh border and sought for international intervention to protect these communities and restore stability in Bangladesh after Sheikh Hasina’s resignation.
Kesri highlighted the decreasing Hindu population and continuous persecution, emphasizing the urgent need for protection and action and called for an end to the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh.
He urged interim Prime Minister Muhammad Yunus to maintain the rule of law and protect all communities.
Balbir Kumar, Balwant Fauji and Darshana Devi were also present on the occasion.
