JAMMU, Aug 10: A delegation from the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), led by Tarun Singla, Officiating President, held a significant meeting with Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at his official chambers in Jammu.
The meeting was also graced by the presence of Dr Sanjay Bansal, National Board Member of NTWB, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and National President of the Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII).
During this pivotal interaction, Tarun Singla articulated several critical challenges faced by the industrial sector in the region. Among the foremost issues discussed were the urgent need for increased budgetary allocations for turnover incentives and the unjust denial of GST-linked incentives to units that have undergone substantial expansions.
In response, Manoj Sinha assured that the administration is committed to taking swift and effective measures to resolve the issues highlighted by the BBIA.
Furthermore, Dr Sanjay Bansal brought to attention pressing matters related to the pending payments for hospitals and clinics empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, as well as the concerns regarding the relocation of warehouses.
Manoj Sinha provided positive assurance, reiterating that all necessary actions would be taken to address the points raised by Tarun Singla and Dr Bansal.
