Advo Manhas urges people to support DPAP in Assembly polls

JAMMU, Aug 11: Advocate Maheshwar Singh Manhas, Provincial General Secretary Democratic Progressive Azad Party today held interaction with the people of Old Janipura in Jammu North Assembly Segment as part of his ongoing campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, he cautioned the people to remain vigilant from the parties who demand votes in the name of religion which is disastrous to the social and secular fabric of the country.
He further asked them to discard and reject such forces in the upcoming Assembly elections and vote overwhelmingly in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad-led DPAP as the former Chief Minister of J&K has a vivid agenda of progress and development.
“We are committed to restoration of full Statehood to J&K”, he said and criticized the present Government for failure to control the prices of essential commodities. “The high electricity tariff has made the lives of common masses miserable as such during the Assembly elections people should teach a lesson to all those parties which worked for their own benefits only”, he added.
The meeting was organised by Raja and among others was attended by Pawan Kumar (Raju Mahajan), Block President Janipur-Paloura Jammu North, Daya Krishan, Naveen Kumar, Seva Ram, Hans Raj, Raj Kumar, Shami Turki, Shunuu Devi, Jyoti Devi, Tripta Devi, Satya Devi, Asha Rani and Pinki Devi.
