JAMMU, Aug 13: Chairman of Team Jammu and BJP leader, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today released a devotional Dogri album “Chandi Maiya Ji”, sung by renowned Dogri singer Deepak Kumar.
The album was released during a function held at Press Club of Jammu, while Subash Nanda, Regional Marketing Head Kamdhenu Paints; Suneet Raina, Director Shree Institute of Education; Darshan Kumar Pataka, President, J&K Jagran Sewa Samiti were special guests on the occasion.
Produced and presented by Deepak Kumar, music given by the renowned artist of Jammu Sahil Nath and lyrics penned by Vikrant Sonu, the album has been directed by K K Malhotra and video-graphed in various locations of Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Zorawar Singh Jamwal congratulated the entire team of devotional video album “Chandi Maiya Ji” and hoped that this will make waves in music industry, besides, is liked by netizens and people across the country. He appreciated the tireless efforts of singer Deepak Kumar who is also popularly known as “Jammu Ka Kishore Kumar” and has sung numerous bhajans as well as Dogri songs that had hit the stands in the past few years.
Team Jammu chief asserted that Jammu and Kashmir UT Government must open its door to the world of music industry besides film industry and ensure its presence felt here in a big way. He said that there is dire need to provide a platform to budding singers to further harness their talent. He said that the devotional album made by these popular artists especially Deepak Kumar is the greatest example of their intellectual, creativity and latent ability that needs to be harnessed for their optimal self-actualization.
He said that the participation of youth in such devotional and spiritual activities will not only keep away the youth from indulging in social crimes but will also keep them in good health and sound mind.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal further emphasized the essence of Jammu and Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage, highlighting the importance of communal harmony and the profound belief of the people in their deities. “J&K has always been a land of diverse cultures and faiths. The belief in deities like Chandi Mata, Vaishno Mata, Sukrala Mata is a testament to our shared heritage and communal harmony,” he added.
