JAMMU, Aug 13: The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu has issued a directive requiring all police officers and officials to wear proper uniforms while performing their duties.
This decision comes after observations that many officers were not adhering to uniform regulations, which, according to the ADGP Jammu, not only breaches departmental rules but also harms the public image of the police.
In a circular issued today, the ADGP Jammu said that senior officers have emphasized the seriousness of this matter, and any deviations from this directive will be met with strict scrutiny.
The ADGP Jammu has mandated that all subordinate formations ensure compliance with this uniform policy to maintain discipline and professionalism within the force.
