Myanmar national among two held with 2 kg Ganja-like-substance

JAMMU, Aug 13: A national of Myanmar was among the two drug peddlers who were arrested with 2 kilograms of Ganja-like-substance from Narwal area here today, police said.
Chander Sekhar Jha of West Bengal and Zahidullah of Myanmar were arrested with one kilograms of Ganja each by a team of Police Post Narwal headed by SHO Bahu Fort with assistance from Incharge Police Post Narwal PSI Sanjeev Sharma, they said, adding that the teams were guided by SDPO East and SP South.
Accordingly, the accused have been booked in case FIR number 190/2024 under sections 8/20/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bahu Fort with further investigation taken up, police said.
