The demonstrators gathered in front of the school premises, voicing their frustration over the lack of transportation facilities, which they say is severely impacting the students’ education.
In addition to the demand for a school bus, protesters called for the opening of the back gate of the Jyotipuram NHPC Colony to provide students with easier access to the school.
The students also raised concerns about a shortage of staff at the KV school, which they claim is affecting the quality of education.
During the protest, a minor scuffle broke out between the protesters and CISF personnel deployed there. However, the situation was brought under control after officials from the Reasi district administration, Police, and NHPC arrived at the scene. The officials assured the protesters that their grievances would be addressed promptly.
