Attendants manhandle doctor in Vijaypur hospital

SAMBA, Aug 16: Staff of Vijaypur Hospital struck work in protest against the manhandling of a doctor on duty by the attendants of a patient. The staff protested against the manhandling incident and demanded stern action against the accused.
As per reports, the attendants who had come with a patient manhandled a doctor in Vijaypur Hospital this evening.
A girl was brought to Vijaypur hospital in an unconscious state, where her attendants had an altercation during treatment with the doctor and they later manhandled him after which other members of the hospital intervened.
Taking advantage of the situation, the attendants left with the patient. After the written complaint of the victim doctor Sandeep Bhardwaj, Police Station in-charge Vijaypur, Zahir who reached the spot, took cognizance of the matter and started search for the accused. Expressing their resentment all the health workers in Vijaypur Hospital stopped the work and went on strike.
