Various social organizations celebrate I-Day with great enthusiasm, fervor

JAMMU, Aug 16: The 78th Independence Day was today celebrated by various social organizations with full fervor and gaiety.
In this regard a function was organized by Team Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) here today. Rajinder P. Kakkar, President TNWS hoisted the Tiranga after welcome the guests and audience with greetings.
Independence Day was celebrated at National Incredible Literacy Mission (NILM), Roop Nagar with great enthusiasm and fervor. Kavita Bali, Secretary NILM unfurls the National flag, as the National Anthem was played.
A musical event on the occasion of I-Day was organized by Sabrang Foundation. The event was led by the director, Neera Bakshi, with significant contributions from singer Krishna Kumari.
Celebrating 78th Independence Day in a unique style, frontline Socio-Cultural Organization namely Lalitaditya Sports, Education and Health Organisation (LSEHO) organised an impressive and colourful Musical evening.
J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha headed by Kali Das Panotra, as its president unfurled National flag on the occasion of I-Day.
Welfare committee, Dogra Hall, headed by N D Rajwal celebrated 78th Independence Day with Great enthusiasm at its Head Office.
All India Backward Classes Union and Amrda Business Hub Private Limited celebrated I-Day. The event was led by Chairman, AIBCU, and MD, ABHPL, Mohammad Latif Qureshi which was attended by Prof. Kali Dass, General Secretary, MR Bangotram Chief Advisor, Kewal Krishan Fotra, General Secretary Successor, Prem Nath Bhogal, State Advisor and Koshal Langeh.
The J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organized a function on the occasion of 78th I-Day. On this occasion, Chairman of the J&K Branch of ICAI, Vineet Kohli, Sourav Pargal, Vice Chairman, Priya Seht, Secretary, Vikas Purdhani, Ayush Sawnhey and Nakul Saraf, Executive Members, along with others members of the branch unfurled the national flag.
All India Institute of Local Self Government, Jammu celebrated 78th I-Day in the Institute with pomp and show. The National Flag was unfurled by the Regional Director, Dr. K. B. Magotra and the National Anthem was also sung by all present in the function.
A function was organized to celebrate I-Day by a noted Senior Supreme Court Lawyer and a distinguished fellow United Services of India (USI) Ashok Bhan in the presence of Vice Chancellor, Dr. Raj Nehru and an eminent media personality Ashok Ogra.
The Taushi Branch (Shakha) of Bharat Vikas Parishad, J&K Prant, hoisted the National Flag to celebrate the 78th Independence Day. The National Flag was hoisted by Ajay Khajuria, President of the Taushi branch.
To commemorate the I-Day, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLKS) organized a colourful cultural programme. The Program was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Rajinder Sharma, Former Mayor JMC, Yash Paul Sharma, Former Corporator, V.K. Magotra and J.K Raina.
The I-Day was celebrated in Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (GDCT and Brig. Khuda Baksh Memorial Public Hr. Sec School (run under the aegis of GDCT) in the Arshad Ali Choudhary (Chairman of GDCT). The function began with Hoisting of National Flag along with enchanting of National Anthem at both the venues (Trust & School).
The residents of Paloura also celebrated the I-Day with a flag hoisting ceremony. The ceremony was graced by the participation of prominent residents including Rajat singh Manhas, Daleep Singh, Balbir Singh, Narinder, Shivdev, Jaipal, Mohit, Amit, Neeraj Chandra, Ravinder, Daljeet, and many more.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Jammu celebrated the I-Day with great fervor. Arun Gupta, President, CCI hoisted the National flag in presence of other office bearers and senior members of the CCI.
78th I-Day celebration marked in Apna Vihar colony Kunjwani by unfurling Indian flag by Satbir Singh I/C police stn Gangyal. On the occasion, Rtd DC Vijay Sharma, President of Society, Dr Vijay Sharma, Suraj Chopra, B.S. Samyal, P.S. Bali, Rtd SE DPS. Bali and S.C. Khajuria were also present.
Khwaja Farooq Renzushah, Chief Commissioner, JK Scouts, Hindustan scouts & Chairman Kashmir society International unfurled National Flag amidst Aastan Marag, Mahadev and Buddhist mountain range to highlight symbol of religious unity
Narwal Fruit Mandi Association (NFMA) also celebrated I-Day with great fervor. On the occasion, Parveen Kumar Gupta, President of the association hoisted the National flag in presence of Vice- President, Atul Ghai and Gen Secy, Nitin Jain.
Sulabh International Social Service Organisation celebrated the 78th I-Day. The Flag was hoisted by Ritesh Kumar in the presence of Sanjay Kumar Thakur, controller of the organization.
An impressive Function was organized at Bari Brahmana Industries Association Office to celebrate the 78th I-Day in the presence of Lalit Mahajan, President BBIA, Ajay Langer, Vice President, Rishi Kant Gupta, Treasurer and Ajay Gupta.
The New Rehari Resident Welfare Society celebrated I-Day with great enthusiasm. The event was marked by the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Patron, Ramesh Gupta.
The Bhartiya Dalit Sahitya Akademy (BDSA) celebrated I-Day with great enthusiasm. The flag hoisting ceremony was led by B.R. Kundal, the working president of the Akademy in the presence of Hem Raj Phounsa, Nagarmal, P.L. Bhushan, R.L. Bhagat, Dr. Rakesh Atri, Sudesh Kumar, Anil Kumar and Swarn Singh.
Kshatriya Sansad proudly celebrated I-Day with a grand event. On the occasion, the national flag was hoisted by M S Katoch (President, Kshatriya Sansad). The gathering stood in unison as the national anthem filled the air, evoking a deep sense of patriotism and pride in the hearts of all present.
In the spirit of Unity, Jammu Province Peoples Forum (JPPF) celebrated I-Day. The national flag was hoisted by President JPPF, Pavitar Singh in the presence of all the members and the other audience present in the event.
A flag hoisting ceremony was organized by KP Sabha, Ambphalla, which was attended by the Executive Committee of Sabha. K. K. Khosa, President Kashmiri Pandit Sabha hoisted the national flag and remembered the sacrifices of the patriots in getting the Independence about eight decades ago.
A similar function was also organized by Trikuta Kashmiri Samiti. The national flag was hoisted by the members of samiti.
On the occasion of I-Day, Chandigarh- Lion Jagdish Walia, President, Lions Club (Host) hoisted the flag. Earlier, the club donated 2 Sewing Machines to the needy women and also presented mementoes to the students of School for Deaf & Dumb, run by the club.
On the occasion of I-Day, a grand event was organized by the Dogra Gramin Brahmin Sabha in the village of Garhi. The program began with the flag hoisting by the Sabha President, Krishna Lal Sharma, and his team, followed by a collective rendition of the national anthem.
Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade Jammu celebrated Independence Day with fervour and enthusiasm. President of the DBPS Ved Parkash Sharma, Senior BJP leader Chander Mohan Sharma, NMC President Subash Shastri Sabha, Chairman PC Sharma, Former JMC Commissioner, Soujanya Sharma, Former Deputy Commissioner, B.S Jamwal, DBPS Youth President, Ritiz Khajuria and General Secretary of the Bawa Bhair Dev Sathan Trust, Ramesh Sharma jointly unfurled the National Flag and National Anthem was sung by all on the occasion.
Under the banner of Dogra Brahaman Pratinidhi Sabha, the inhabitants of Chhanni Himmat also celebrated I-Day with fervour and enthusiasm. Major General Dev Raj Sharma (Retd), Capt Lalit Sharma, Ved Sharma, President Dogra Brahaman Pratinidhi Sabha and Subhash Shastri, President NMC jointly unfurled the national flag and National Anthem was sung by all on the occasion .
On the occasion of I-Day, Indian National People welfare society Regd organisation organised an impressive function, where large number of local people of Bahu Fort participated. President of organization was chief guest of this function.
The Management of Tirthraj Kapal Mochan Shrine and Temples in District Shopian also celebrated India’s Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism today. The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by a rendition of the national anthem.
As a part of I-Day celebrations, TR Gupta Charitable Trust organized a function, in which the members of Trust participated and hoisted the national flag.
Dogri Sanstha Jammu celebrated I-Day. Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha hoisted the tricolor and a number of litterateurs including executive body and working members of sanstha also participated in the event.
Swaran Vihar Welfare Committee also celebrated I-Day with great Zeal and zest. The President, DN Thaploo and other citizens hoisted the national flag.
Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Jammu-Kashmir, today celebrated the I-Day under the leadership of President, Narender Trehan. The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted wherein Corporator Jaideep along with Narender Trehan and Rohit did the honors.
Arya Samaj, Trikuta Nagar also organised a special function to celebrate Indian Independence day. The National flag was hoisted by the President of Arya Samaj, Trikuta Nagar, Ravinder Rekhi followed by singing of National Anthem.
A similar function was also organized by Arya Samaj, Daya Nand Marg, Jammu. The National flag was hoisted by President, Arun Gupta in the presence of General Secretary, Balwan Singh and others.
On the occasion, of I-Day, Movement Kalki hoisted the tricolor at the General Bus Stand in Jammu. The event was presided over by Sanjeev Dubey, Thakur Arjun Singh, Satpal Hindu, Ravinder Khajuria and Vikram Mahajan.
Association of Book Sellers, Udhampur celebrated 78th Independence Day in presence of eminent and prominent personalities. Arun Kumar Gupta, Social Activist and President book sellers association Organization unfurled tricolor in presence of mammoth gathering and organization members.
Udhampur Development Council (UDC) organized a Grand function to celebrate the 78th Independence Day. On this occasion Anil Paba, president UDC hoisted the national flag in the presence of Parvesh Parihar, General Secretary, Vikas Upadhaya and Rakesh Padha.
Dogra Saddar Sabha, Udhampur organized function to celebrate the I-Day. On this occasion KK Bhardwaj, District President DSS hoisted national flag in presence of Manmohan Rana and Suhail Khokhar.
The J&K Dharmarth Trust celebrated Independence Day of India with immense fervor and patriotism. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Brig (Retd) R.S. Langeh, President of Dharmarth Trust, and Ashok Kumar Sharma in the presence of the Trust’s employees and staff members.
AIMCCC also celebrated I-Day at Jagti Township in a simple but great function. The national flag was hoisted by President, Desh Rattan Pandita in the presence of Chairman, B K Raina, PN Jalali, Jawahar Lal Raina, Ramesh Tikoo and District president Mahila Wing, Mela Misri.
On the Independence Day, Jagti Tenement Committee, Soan Kashmir hoisted the Tricolour in Jagti township, under the Chairmanship of its President, Shadi Lal Pandita.
Starline Syndicate Service celebrated I-Day with high spirit. The national flag was hoisted by veteran journalist, O P Sharma in Old Janipur, Tali Morh in presence of large number of people.
Ex-servicemen Association, Akhnoor celebrated I-Day with patriotic fervor. Lakhbir Singh, Chairman of the association hoisted the national flag. The event was attended by Veer naries and their families.
All J&K Scheduled Castes Welfare Association celebrated I-Day with enthusiasm. The flag hoisting was done by Jagdish Bhagat, President, of the association in the presence of Om Raj Bhall, Gopal Dass, M R Majotra, Krishnal Gopal and Shiv Lal.
The residents of Shanti Nagar, Toph Sherkhania celebrated I-Day and unfurled the national flag. The tributes were paid by all the people to the countless people, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of country.
Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj celebrated 78th Independence Day under the guidance of Col (Retd) R K Sharma, Chairman and S Daljeet Singh, President with enthusiasm and gaiety. Sunder Singh, ESM hoisted National Flag on behalf of Samaj.
Balgran celebrated Independence Day with Cultural Programme of songs and dance by the students of Bal Bharti Public School. Professor Anju Bhasin, Dean Academic Affairs, University of Jammu and Former Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu, was the Chief Guest in the function. She hoisted the National Flag along with the Office Bearers, Employees and Life Members of Balgran.
Dogra Sadar Sabha celebrated the I-Day with grand celebrations. The flag hoisting was done by Gulchain Singh Charak, President of the Sabha in presence of large number of people.
