NSF pays tribute to Netaji on 79th death anniversary

JAMMU, Aug 18: National Secular Forum (NSF) organized a programme in New Plot, Jammu on the death anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and paid him rich tribute.
Dr Vikas Sharma, Secretary Central Zone and Coordinator Jammu Distt (Urban) JKNC, was the chief guest and T R Sharma (Retd KAS), presided over the function. Dr Sukhdev Singh, State President NSF was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Vikas Sharma said that the right tribute to Subhash Chandra Bose would be to ensure safeguarding constitutional rights of people. He also appealed to the youth to come forward to eliminate all evils from the society.
T R Sharma mentioned that Subhash Chandra Bose was strongly influenced by Swami Vivekananda teachings.
Dr Sukhdev Singh said that the contribution of such great people could not be ignored, which had secured freedom for the country and its people.
Mohd Umar Farooq, Jammu University Unit President of NSF and Abhishek Uppal, Chairman Jammu District also spoke on the occasion.
