JAMMU, Aug 19: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma today had an interaction with DK Boora, Inspector General (IG) Border Security Force (BSF) Jammu Frontier.
During their meeting, also attended by the DIG Ops BSF, Vikrant Nayar, the duo discussed issues related to the border management in depth areas of District Jammu, Samba, and Kathua in view of the present security scenario especially the forthcoming Assembly elections in the region.
As per a statement, the IG BSF ensured that proper coordination between police and BSF will be maintained for effective border management.
