JAMMU, Aug 20: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continues to gather momentum in the run-up to the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, as members of several prominent traders’ associations from Jammu East today met with Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP vice president and expressed their unwavering support for the party.
This significant endorsement underscores the growing confidence in the BJP’s ability to steer Jammu and Kashmir towards a prosperous and stable future.
During the meeting, the representatives of the traders’ associations conveyed their strong belief in the leadership and vision of the BJP, highlighting that the party’s policies have consistently favored the growth and development of the region. They praised the Government’s efforts in promoting trade and commerce, ensuring security, and fostering an environment conducive to business and investment. The traders emphasized that they have high hopes from the BJP, especially under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, as the region prepares for the upcoming elections. They asserted that the Modi Government has transformed the Jammu and Kashmir with an abrogation of Article 370 from the erstwhile state.
Yudhvir Sethi expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support extended by the traders’ associations. He assured them that the BJP remains fully committed to addressing the concerns of the business community and ensuring their interests are safeguarded. He reiterated that the BJP’s governance model is based on transparency, accountability, and inclusive development, which resonates with the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sethi further stated that the BJP is determined to continue its mission of transforming Jammu and Kashmir into a hub of progress and prosperity. He called upon all sections of society to join hands with the BJP by supporting the party in the upcoming Assembly polls with a sole aim to build J&K a stronger and more vibrant Union Territory. The Traders also complimented Sethi for taking up their issue with Government and seeking justice for the shopkeepers.
