HCL TechBee conducts screening interviews of migrant youth

JAMMU, Aug 21: HCL TechBee in collaboration with Global Solace Society conducted screening interviews for Kashmiri migrant youth at Jagti camp under a special placement drive for KP youth looking for higher education/jobs.
Tech Bee is HCL’s Early Career Programme for Class XII pass outs under which those selected undergo 12 months of training and, on successful completion are deployed with full time jobs at HCL Tech. They also get a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month during apprenticeship.
HCLTech has partnered with BITS Pilani, IIIT Kottayam, Amity University online, KL University or SASTRA University to offer specialized higher education programs for HCL Tech Bee scholars for pursing BBA, BCA, B.COM, BSC (IT) degrees through these universities. Upon successful completion of the training, the student will begin working as a full-time Associate or IT Services professional with a starting salary of Rs 1.70 – 2.20 lakhs per annum.
The Jagti event was graced by Relief Commissioner, Dr Arvind Karwani as the Chief guest. Vijay Sharma, DC Relief was the special guest and Global Solace’s Pintoo Ji Pandita as the guest of honor. T K Dhar, and others joined as invited guests on the occasion.
Suriya Kant Chaturvedi, North Zone Head of Tech Bee explained in detail the HCL Early Career Programme and added that his company is ready to take as many as 3000 youth from migrant community. Jatin Labroo, a resident of Jagti, who is a graduate of this program and working with HCL narrated his own experience and how he has immensely benefited from it.
