‘No alliance with any political party’

SRINAGAR, Aug 22: Apni Party president Syed Mohd Altaf Bukhari today stated that if given a public mandate in the upcoming Assembly elections, the Apni Party will offer a general amnesty to the youth currently facing charges.
He said that nearly 50,000 young people would benefit from this proposed amnesty. He also pledged that the Apni Party would fill two lakh Government vacancies within six months of taking office.
Bukhari made these commitments today while addressing a public rally in the Nadihal, Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The prominent party leaders, including the Chairman of the party’s Parliamentary Affairs Committee Mohammad Dilawar Mir and senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir also addressed the rally, which was attended by a large number of local residents and party workers.
Bukhari announced the nomination of Shabir Ahmad Lone as the party’s candidate for the Baramulla constituency. He urged the people to use their vote wisely in the upcoming elections.
“These elections will decide whether voters endorse a politics of truthfulness or deceit. It is a test for the people to decide if they will succumb once again to the empty promises of traditional political parties or support the Apni Party’s commitment to honesty,” he added.
“Unlike other parties, we will never mislead you for our political gain. These parties have always deceived you and garnered your votes by making false promises like ‘Raishumari,’ ‘Autonomy,’ ‘Self-rule,’ and so on. These days, they are trying to mislead you by promising to restore Article 370. You should not believe their false promises.”
Altaf Bukhari clarified that the Apni Party will neither offer an alliance to any political party nor accept any such offer from any party during the upcoming elections. He also clarified that the Apni Party is not affiliated with any other political party.
Prominent party leaders who spoke were present at the rally included the Dilawar Mir, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Yawar Mir, Shabir Ahmad, Muzaffar Rizvi, Ghulam Mohammad War, Nazir Naikoo, Abdul Gaffar Bhat, Mohammad Rafiq, Shabir Ahmad, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Tariq Ahmad, Shabir Ahmad Parray, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Mohammad Syed, Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, Mohammad Shafi, Mohammad Ramzan, Mohammad Latief Dar and others.
