Rajnath to hold rally in Udhampur

JAMMU, Apr 11: BJP National president, Rajnath Singh will address an election rally at Udhampur on April 15.
This was announced by BJP Prabhari for J&K, and MP, Avinash Rai Khanna at a party meeting here, today. The meeting which was held at BJP headquarters, finalized the programme for April 15 rally to be held at Udhampur Stadium.
Mr Singh will reach Udhampur by a special chopper at 11 am and after alighting at Udhampur airport, he will straight way visit to Stadium and address the election rally appealing people to vote for BJP candidate, Dr Jitendra Singh in April 17 elections.
After addressing the rally he will return for Union Capital in the afternoon.
Mr Khanna said that with the visit of Mr Singh the campaigning in Kathua, Doda constituency will get a boost. He said the Kathua-Udhampur seat is important for the party and this can be gauged from the fact that Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi started his poll campaign from this very Lok Sabha constituency on March 26 after paying obeisance at holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi.
This was followed by the visit of BJP MP from Gurdaspur, Punjab and Bollywood star of yesteryears, Vinod Khanna who also addressed the election rally at Kathua on April 8.
