LEH, Aug 25: The Apex Body Leh today convened a crucial meeting with BJP Ladakh representatives to address pressing issues concerning the Union Territory of Ladakh.
A statement said that the meeting was attended by key figures, including Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC Leh Tashi Gyalson, BJP Ladakh State President Phuntsog Stanzin, BJP Ladakh General Secretary PT Kunzang, and former CEC LAHDC Leh/Vice President BJP Ladakh Gyal P Wangyal.
It said the discussions focused on the urgent need to resume dialogue between the Ministry of Home Affairs (GOI), the Apex Body, and the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA).
Key topics included challenges related to the Public Service Commission (PSC), gazetted recruitment, and other recruitment processes aimed at reducing unemployment in the region.
BJP Ladakh committed to pursuing the resumption of dialogue with the Government of India and facilitating constructive discussions between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Apex Body-KDA to address Ladakh’s demands.
The meeting was marked by a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect, underscoring a shared commitment to the welfare and future of Ladakh.
