JAMMU, Aug 25: Police today claimed they have arrested two individuals from Bahu Fort area here with 13 grams of a smack-like substance and 12 grams of a heroin-like substance.
A police official said that the accused, identified as Dorjay Gyalpo from Fyand, Leh, and Suhail Hussain from Kampari, Leh, were apprehended during a raid at JDA parking in Bahu Plaza.
“The operation was led by the SHO of Bahu Fort Police Station, with oversight from senior officers,” he said.
According to him, a case FIR Number 204/2024, under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and further investigation taken up.
