JAMMU, Aug 25: Sanjay Aggarwal, Managing Director of Jammu Motors (P) Ltd, was honoured with the prestigious “Vyapar Rattan Award” by the Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII) during its Global Conference 2024, held at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.
The award recognizes outstanding contributions to trade and industry by exceptional business leaders from India and abroad.
The FTII Global Conference is a significant event that brings together trade and industry leaders from across the globe, fostering new business opportunities and strengthening existing networks.
The conference was graced by prominent figures including Naresh Bansal, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, who served as the Chief Guest.
Guests of honour included Harsh Malhotra, MoS Ministry of Road, Transport & Highways and Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Sunil Singhi, Chairman of the National Trader’s Welfare Board, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and Dr Romesh Khajuria, Chairman of the Ministry of Textile, Government of India.
Radhey Shyam Sharma, Patron of FTII, Dr Sanjay Bansal, National President of FTII, and Raj Kumar Khandelwal, National General Secretary of FTII, were also present at the event.
Sanjay Aggarwal, with 26 years of experience in the automobile sector, has led Jammu Motors to significant growth as a franchise of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.
He is also the Chairperson of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations Jammu and is active in addressing issues in the automobile sector in J&K.
Aggarwal is well-known for his commitment to social causes and is actively involved with various industry bodies, including the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), and Jammu Automobiles Dealers Association (JADA).
