Blood donation camp organized at Gujjar Colony

JAMMU, Aug 25: A blood donation camp was organized by the Welfare Department, Dawat-e-Islami India (Garib Nawaz Relief Foundation) in collaboration with Gurjar Desh Charitable (GDC) Trust, at Sahir Ludhianvi Cultural Hall of GDC Trust, Gujjar Colony, here today.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Arshad Ali Choudhary (Chairman of the Trust) as chief guest. The doctors/technicians from various faculties participated in the camp and provided free medical consultation and collected blood from the people who came in large number from different areas in the camp.
The chief guest in his inaugural address acknowledged the role of Welfare Department of Garib Nawaz Relief Foundation Dawat-e-Islami India and its organizers Maulana Noor Mohammad Qadri and Ghulam-ud-Din Attari in encouraging the ‘young generation for donating their blood towards the sacred cause.
During the camp, M Sadiq Azad (general secretary), Bashir Ahmed Noon (financial advisor), Advocate Anwar Chowdhary (Trustee) and Advocate Aslam Khan (Trustee) also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of organizing such camps.
The doctor/technicians from the Department of IHBT, Blood Centre, GMC Jammu who provided free consultation and services to the donors included Dr Taseer Mehraj, Girdhari Lal, Rakesh Dogra, Deepak Ranyal, Anmol Rattan and all technicians.
