Mula Ram, Kashyap seek support for Azad

JAMMU, Apr 12: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Mula Ram along with Madan Lal Kashyap toured various segments of Kathua district and campaigned for the Congress-NC coalition candidate Ghulam Nabi Azad.
The leaders appealed people to elect Ghulam Nabi Azad from Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha seat for development of the area. “During Azad’s short-stint as Chief Minister and Union Health Minister, lot of development activities were undertaken.  Super Specialty Hospital at Jammu was completed in record time to provide long pending demand of specialized medical services to the public of the region who were devoid of this facility at Jammu,” they said.
Both the leaders highlighted several other initiatives of Ghulam Nabi Azad as well as UPA-I and UPA-II for welfare of people in Jammu and Kashmir.  “Construction of Mughal Road,  Prime Minister’s Reconstruction Programme, NRHM, MGNREGA etc greatly help people of J&K,” they said and appealed people to vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad for ensuring that these developmental programmes may continue in the State.
The public meetings were held at Hiranagar, Dayalachak, Ramkote, Dharamkote and were also addressed by Capt Mangal Dass, Baisakhi Ram, Madan Lal, Puran Chand, Mira Bai, Birpal, Buddhi Singh, Prem Nath, Naresh Kumar and Puran Chand Bhatti.
