Chib, Slathia seek vote for Azad

JAMMU, Apr 12: Former Minister and general secretary PCC RS Chib along with senior Congress and NC leaders addressed series of public meetings at Gatti, Sakta Chak, Sounthli, Budhi, Barwal, Logate, Janglote, Kharote, Mathab Pur and Mahaphathi in support of Ghulam Nabi Azad, Congress/NC candidate for Udhampur Parliamentary constituency.
While addressing, Chib asked the people, not to get misled by Modi-Wave and defeat the BJP candidate and vote for Congress candidate Ghulam Nabi Azad, who has contributed a lot as Chief Minister of J&K and Union Minister for Health.
He further said that, BJP is all out to destroy the secular and social fabric of our great nation.
Chib said that the vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad is vote for unity and integrity of India and also the integrity of three regions of State.
He while elaborating the achievements of Ghulam Nabi Azad said that the decision of opening of five new Medical Colleges in the State is the greatest contribution of Azad. Chib said that the people of State should not forget the creation of new districts, while Azad was the Chief Minister of the State.
He also highlighted the achievements of the Congress and NC Coalition Government with special reference to the creation of new administrative units in which the interests of Jammu region was fully safe-guarded.
Surjit Singh Slathia, MLA and senior leader of National Conference who also accompanied RS Chib in the campaign, today appealed to the electorates to vote in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad for the unity and integrity of the State and the Nation.
Others who spoke included Naresh Sharma, Dhian Chand Ex-MLA, Sardar Khan, JP Singh, Surjit Singh, Ravinder Slathia, Rajinder Zalim, Charanjit Singh Dhola, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
