JAMMU, Aug 27: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today accorded sanction to the constitution of committee for the project ‘Implementation of Optical Fibre Connectivity for CCTV sites of the Union Territory’.
The committee shall provide technical vetting for the DPR and give recommendations regarding the provisions proposed in DPR.
Further, it shall give its recommendations/suggestions on the viability of the proposed solutions in the DPR and ensure strict compliance to all the rules, procedures/guidelines issued by the Government from time to time while vetting the DPR.
Headed by Mohammad Saleem Khan, State Information Officer, NIC, J&K, the committee shall submit its report to Information Technology Department within a period of 15 days.
Dr Javaid Iqbal Bhat, Associate Professor, Islamic University of Science & Technology, Kashmir and Gaurav Varshney, Assistant Professor, IIT Jammu are Members of the committee while Munish Pandoh, Technical Officer, Information Technology Department is the Member Secretary.
