Ravinder Raina addresses public rally at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Aug 27: After the nomination filing of candidates from the Kishtwar area, BJP president of J&K, Ravinder Raina, addressed a large public rally in Kishtwar.
Prominent leaders, including BJP general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul, former Deputy CM, Nirmal Singh, BJP general secretary, Sunil Sharma, BJP leader, Tariq Keen and BJP leader, Shagun Parihar, among others, attended the event.
Ravinder Raina expressed his deep connection to Kishtwar, saying, “Whenever I come to Kishtwar, it feels like coming home. The peace and tranquillity I experience here is akin to the comfort of being in my own home.” He recalled his visits to the area in 2008 and 2014, emphasizing his long-standing relationship with the region and its people.
He stated that under the Modi Government, Sunil Sharma served as a Minister and MLA for only three to four years, but he has completely transformed the fate of Kishtwar. Due to his efforts, roads, and electricity have reached every village, golden cards have been provided to the poor, and there has been development in every sector.
He further noted the positive changes in Kishtwar, mentioning the improved law and order situation, with the town bustling even at 2 AM, reflecting peace, prosperity, and security under the Modi Government. He also credited Sunil Sharma for bringing major power projects to the area, which have greatly contributed to Kishtwar’s development.
