NHM releases ranking of Public Health facilities

SRINAGAR, Aug 27: The ranking of Public Health facilities on Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) (JK e Sahaj) for the month of July 2024 was today released by NHM.
As per the ranking released, in the category of New GMCs of Associated Hospitals of Govt. Medical Colleges, the first rank has been clinched by Govt Medical College, Kathua followed by Govt Medical College, Udhampur, Govt. Medical College Rajouri, Govt Medical College Baramulla and Govt. Medical College Doda.
Bottom in this category includes Govt Medical College Anantnag and Govt. Medical College Handwara.
In the category of District Hospitals first rank has been clinched by DH Kishtwar, followed by DH Shopian, DH Samba, DH Bandipora and ASYM DH Budgam.
Bottom five in this category includes District Hospital, JLNM Srinagar, MCCH Anantnag, DH Kulgam, DH Ramban, and Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu,
In the category of Community Health Centres (CHCs), first rank has been clinched by CHC Pakherpora, Budgam, followed by CHC Banihal, Ramban, CHC Nagam, Budgam, CHC Hiranagar, Kathua, and CHC Marh, Jammu.
Bottom five in this category includes CHC Thanamandi, Rajouri, CHC Zachaldara, Kupwara, CHC Ramnagar, Udhampur, CHC Pattan, Baramulla and CHC Magam, Budgam.
JK e-sahaj (Electronic System for Automation of Hospital Administration in J&K) initiative was formally launched on 4th November 2022 as part of Jashn-e-Sehat, by the Lt Governor, J&K for different types of facilities.
JK E -Sahaj has been integrated with Rapid Assessment System (RAS), 104 Centralised Health Helpline for outbound calling and RCH portal of MoHFW, Govt. of India.
