LJSP to contest Assembly elections alone: Malik

JAMMU, Aug 27: The Jammu and Kashmir team of Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ramvilas) headed by Rafiq Malik President J&K will contest the assembly election alone.
This was informed by the LJSP, President J&K, Rafiq Malik in a meeting held here today.
In this regard, Malik met with the LJSP’s Election Committee, emphasizing the necessity of contesting the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir under the party’s mandate.
The Election Committee approved their request to participate in the upcoming polls.
Speaking on the occasion Malik said, “Election Committee would be visiting Jammu on September 1, 2024, to officially announce the names of the candidates who will be contesting the Assembly elections to galvanize the party’s supporters and strengthen its position ahead of the elections. LJSP is committed to addressing the concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and ensuring that their voices are heard in the upcoming elections.”
Among others who were present on the occasion included RP Singh General Secretary J&K, Vikram Singh General Secretary J&K, Shakeel Ahamed General Secretary J&K, Kamaljeet State General Secretary J&K, Varun Bali Vice President J&K, MK Bhat Migrant State President J&K, Inder Manhas Provincial President J&K, Gulam Rasool Provincial President Kashmir, Nitin Jamwal State Secretary J&K (Incharge Ramban & Udhampur), Devinder Paul Singh State Secretary J&K and Inderjeet District President Samba.
