JAMMU, Aug 28: Shiv Sena (Shinde) leader and party candidate from Doda West, Assembly Segment, Tilak Raj Shan held an election meeting at Doda and appealed the people to vote in his favour.
Shan, who filed his nomination papers yesterday while launching his campaigning with a public meeting today assured the people that he will come up to their expectations by solving their day-to-day problems.
He assured that he will strive hard to get 300 units of power free for the Doda and Kishtwar districts which are the hub of power generations, besides he will work for the development of the area with construction of Pucca roads, construct roads in remote areas of constituency which still lack the communication facilities, ensure ration to remote areas, get school buildings constructed in those villages which have no Government school buildings and ensure the appointment of teachers, in schools doctors and para medical staff in hospitals and dispensaries of the area.
