UDHAMPUR, Aug 28: Police today arrested two narcotic smugglers from Chenani Nakapoint and recovered approximately 1.315 kgs of cannabis from their possession.
The accused were travelling in an Audi car bearing registration number DL8CZ – 9667, which was stopped by a Police party of Police Station Chenani, led by SHO.
During search, approx 1.315 kgs of cannabis was recovered from the vehicle following which both the persons were arrested.
Police seized the consignment as well as the vehicle and registered a case under relevant Sections of Law in Police Station Chenani.
