SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Security forces today foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Tangdhar area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official said that a fierce gunfight broke out between infiltrating militants and security forces during a cordon and search operation in Tangdhar near the LoC.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
