JAMMU, Aug 28: Three drug peddlers were arrested with 9 grams of heroin-like-substance in RS Pura area here today.
A police official said that Amit Singh of Bidhipur Jattan, Tehsil Suchetgarh, District Jammu, Mohammad Saleem of Karowa, Jaganoo, Tehsil and District Udhampur and Vishal Kumar of Nandpur, Miran Sahib, Tehsil RS Pura, District Jammu, were arrested with the drugs by a team of Police Station RS Pura led by SHO concerned, assisted by other police officials during routine patrolling duty at Burey De Kothey naka near Lovely Palace, RS Pura.
He said the accused have been booked in case FIR number 189/2024 under Sections 8/21/22/29/60 registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation taken up.
